Reopening to the public and presentation of the exhibition Saro Brancato – Enzo Sottile 1968–1978

The Civic Museum of Castelbuono announces that, from 8 March 2026, it will partially reopen to the public, with access to the ground floor and first floor of the museum complex. The following sections will be open to visitors:
Temporary exhibitions
Archaeology
Urban Planning
Contemporary Art

The Sacred Art Section and the Palatine Chapel will remain temporarily closed to the public, as they are currently undergoing installation and enhancement works as part of the ongoing PNRR-funded project.

Exhibition Opening
To mark the reopening, on Saturday 7 March 2026 at 6:00 p.m., the former stables of the Civic Museum of Castelbuono will host the public presentation of the exhibition Saro Brancato – Enzo Sottile 1968–1978, curated by Laura Barreca and Valentina Bruschi, with scientific consultancy by Angela Sottile.
