In the Chapel of Saint Anne, a masterpiece by the Serpotta brothers (1684), the multimedia installation REVELATA offers visitors a multisensory experience, featuring narration by the italian actress Isabella Ragonese, whose performance guides the audience through an evocative journey of light and sound.
The project has been conceived as a soundscape — a poetic and immersive multisensory performance — combining sonic narration with an automated lighting design that highlights selected details of the Serpottas’ stucco decoration, including the sculptural theatrical scenes near the altar, the phytomorphic and zoomorphic figures on the lateral pilasters, and other symbolic elements.
