On the 100th anniversary of the auction, the Civic Museum wishes to celebrate the great value that a community has demonstrated in caring for an extraordinary cultural asset returned to public use, by sharing an excerpt from Prof. Orazio Cancila\u2019s forthcoming publication dedicated to the history of Castelbuono.
